Mya screaming in pain......(update @ post 204)

Not really what you want to hear at 01:45 this morning.

My poor girl is not well at all. Managed to settle her down again after an examination to try and find out what could be causing her pain.

The only thing perhaps out of the ordinary is her tummy is hard.

She managed to get into the garden at 6 for a pee, but couldn't squat properly. She did have a pee, though.

She's now still out there, just lying down. She refused a bit of roast chicken I took her, so there's absolute proof of something very wrong.

There was evidence of "something" on the carpet, but it just felt wet, so I'm not sure what it was - no smell at all.....

I've cancelled everything this morning and am just waiting for the vets to open.......

I'm really at a loss as to what it could be.....

Thanks Lynn. I don't think it's a water infection as her pee is clear......

Does sound like a water infection. Would you be able to get a sample to take in with you Vicki?.
I hope whatever it is the vet can soon put it right and Mya feels more comfortable.

Hi Bev - no, not a water infection, but possibly bowel as the pain seems to be more intense at the back end
