OH JACKIE, JACKIE, JACKIE......... I really don't know what to say this time, but keep positive, know that they are doing all they can, I can't begin to imagine how you're feeling right now, I am so, so, so, so, sorry, but sending everything we've got here that she makes a full recovery like they originally thought in a day or two.

If it's any help don't forget I had this too many a time with Cassie with her EPI business. She would throw up yellow bile, yellow diarrhea and it was all due to her pancreas flaring up again. They would always stick her on a drip, give her massive amounts of ab's to pull her through it, and always after 5 days she DID come through it, sometimes worse than others.

OH dear, oh dear, oh dear, this is quite tragic, there is no way in this world Jackie that you will lose that little girl of yours, we can work wonders on here as you well know, so keep positive........ Huge amounts of hugs coming your way, you've got me in tears yet again, my favourite girl suffering like this. I can't tell you how upset I am for you.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I can imagine the state that you and John are in at the moment.

All I can say is that you are very much in my thoughts and I'm sending positive vibes that she comes through this.

Just got back from the vets. Cassie is quite seriously ill - the blood tests will reveal whether she has pancreatitis or not, but the vet is pretty certain just on the symptoms alone. It's a flare up that she's having right now, and all the vet can do is wait & see if she can heal herself by keeping her pancreas rested (no food for a couple of days). If it's a relatively minor case of the disease, then she should be OK in a day or two. If it's more serious, then she won't get better & we will probably lose her. There's no blood test to determine the severity of the condition, just whether it's there or not. So basically it's a case of "wait & see" over the next day or two.

It seems a very real risk we could lose her and I don't know what either of will do if that happens. We're both in a real state at the moment. xxxxxJ
Oh my word Jackie, I have as many healing vibes as I can possibly summon up and they are all directed right at the beautiful Cassie. Huge hugs for you at the same time. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think pancreatitis can present as a bug to be honest...it's just if they don't see an improvement they start thinking pancreatitis...they suggested Biff may have it at Christmas, but I'm sure they said they would need to do a very specialised blood test to be certain? It had to be sent to off somewhere else ? Could be wrong...but I'm sure thats what they said? May be worth asking anyway, as our vet said it was the only way to be sure. Maybe my memory is hazy...hard day at work!
Hugs to all xxxxxxxx
Thanks A.xxx
