Update on Cassie -

Cassie didn't improve when we got her home from the emergency vets yesterday. She was still pacing and panting and couldn't settle at all so John rang the emergency vets again at 11:00.

The ambulance came for them and they decided to keep her in overnight, do some blood work and get some fluids into her as she was slightly dehydrated. They're going to transfer her back to her own vets this morning.

Poor little thing. John said you should have seen her face when he left her there It was awful waking up this morning without her being here. Hope she's home with us later today.

So sorry to hear she has not improved hun. But she will feel better once they have some fluids into her.

In away it is probably best that she has her bloods done too, then they can start ruling out things.

I have my fingers crossed that all is ok later this morning.

All our love to you and John.....and a BIG KISS for Cassie xxx

Hoping they find out what it is quickly, J. Something is obviously bothering her - just need to pin it down and then treat it.

Hope it's "something of nothing" and she's home with you asap.

Huge hugs to all and a gentle squish to the Princess

Thanks mate. John just spoke to the emeergency vet and she's had a peaceful night. They've replenished the fluids and are transferring her back to our vet this morning. The bloods didn't show anything so they reckon it's just some kind of bug. Thank goodness she's coming home soon. xxxxxJ

If it's a bug, a course of ABs will soon batter it into submission

Delighted she'll be home soon
