Well Mum doesn't want to know, they tried but she's really not interested, I'm not really surprised because he's been handled by us through the night while feeding so won't smell of mum at all anymore. It was worth a shot but he's on his way back home to us again. I'll try for a photo when they get back Azz.

If they've had a ceaserean they sometimes don't realise they've given birth, plus they won't have eaten the afterbirth because that stimulates them to feed the puppies. No one will have thought to keep it and feed it to her, lots of people don't even realise that they should let the mother eat the afterbirth and why. Also keeps them going over a few days as some dogs don't eat or go to the loo for the first 24 hours minimum.

They might not have even known she was pg? Up until she went into labor. So it could be unintentional.

Any idea's for a name with a Christmas theme as per BDH guidelines, the best I could come up with was Cracker.

Except she didn't go into labour until after she was handed in, I would think they knew when she was due and panicked tbh.

He currently looks black with a white chest if that helps, of course he could be hiding some Brindle that's not apparent yet.
