Daily Thread, Monday 27th February

Good morning everyone,

June , glad Mabs and Zen are both settling down. Shame about Mabs' footprint on your clean sheet.

Lynn, hope that poor cockatiel is soon reunited with its family.

Griff, hope you are feeling much better.

Hope all our absent friends are all ok. Have a good day everyone, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless.

Heavy rain here and its set in for the day.
Yesterday one of the males at training was interested in Zen, have also noticed the girls cleaning her btm this morning. Checked her and she is in season. So this is the root of all the performance from Mabs, also possibly why we have a fox trying to be a house guest. I've not seen any sign prior to my checking her, no marks on the old sheets in the car or anywhere else so thinking its the first day. Mabs will have her nose out of joint, she likes to be first
Hoping you hear news of an appointment today, Moyra

Had a busy weekend, one of my brother & sis in law & niece came to visit Saturday for tea, then yesterday my youngest brother, sis in law and Baby Joel came to visit, and for tea And I got lots of cuddles

TW mr fox will be even more interested in your girls now.

I'll have a read through the weekend and catch up with my cuppa & toast

I have to attend the Ambulatory Acute Care on Wednesday at 10 am. They apparently want more blood tests. Not sure whether there will be any other scans to be done. We shall see.

So Zen will be the next one standing at the fence?!

Good morning everyone

At least you now know what the problem could be June so you will be in for weeks of fun

I don't blame you Griff staying pout not nice today.

Managed to get Teazle out between showers early on. Have been busy sorting holiday clothes and ironing them Son has found he now needs new saucepans as the ones he has do not work on induction hobs. Did say he might but no he didn't listen to his mum

Hope everyone is keeping well

Good afternoon all from Central Beds.

Blustery for my morning walk. Then it rained for a while after which the skies cleared. So we went for a long walk. About half way so furthest from home, we got heavy rain. The dog had his raincoat. I didn't.....

Pancake day tomorrow. I hope the pancake racers get better weather that this or it will be a washout.

Evening everyone been a hectic day here.
Just received some very sad news.

Some of you will remember this girl Zanta.

She crossed the bridge today breathing problems.

Run free at the bridge Zanta 12/03/2005 to 27/02/2017.

Sam has just let me know she will be scattering some of her ashes on the beach in Wales she loved so much. She always loved the beach.

Such a character and stubborn well, for me not for Sam and family her and Sam had such a special bond. Crying here even though she was only with me for 8 months of her long life it hurts just as much as if she had stayed with me.
