Alhambra Palace

Went away for a weekend to Granada, we went to the Alhambra Palace, I was amazed at the artwork in the ceilings.

I have been to the Alhambra Palace and was stunned by the beauty of the place. Had to queue for an hour and a half to get in though but it was well worth the wait and the 3 hour drive to get there from where we were staying in the Andalucian Mountains.

Hope you didn't buy one of the ham sandwiches from the little kiosk in the grounds - ours were totally inedible a bit like eating raw bacon wrapped up in cardboard.

The architecture of the palace is just unbelievable. we have loads of photos as well but they were before we had a digital camera so can't post any.

Ha Ha - you made me laugh about the sandwiches - we went one better, we ate in the Hotel restaurant within the grounds, I had an omlette that was disgusting - it was like rubber and we paid the earth for it! Our bill for 4 of us having snacks was 180 euros

And I thought our bill for 3 cardboard and bacon snacks and 3 bottles of water at 20 euros was expensive

glad we didn't decide to go up market that day
