Seems a bit cooler this morning, my dad will be pleased, he was dying laying cement yesterday...I had a great time sitting in a chair for a little bit supervising lol

Hope dad manages to get the garden finished today and it is not too hot for him

It was lovely and cool when I took Teazle out but now the sun is out and it is getting warmer. So far I have made macaroni cheese and frozen it, picked and frozen runner beans and prepared Ben's lunch for tomorrow. Now coffee time before making some scones and cooking lunch.

Morning everyone. You sound as energetic as me Sue. I have been for my walk. Watered the plants, cleaned the two bird baths and picked up some fallen apples. Prepped the veggies and now will read in the shade for a bit. Have a good day all.

Took Gert out twice already a nice road walk then a run in the fields not long back now. Think it will be to hot later and I am at work this evening we are stocktaking so in tonight tomorrow and Tuesday nights.

Last night I took down the house number plaque from the front sanded and undercoated it, this morning and applied top coat just reattached the numbers and on replaced on front of house. Also weeded the top of the back garden. Had a sausage sarnie and now taking it easy, as at work tonight. Ordered click and collect shopping from Asda for collection tomorrow, and been the corner shop for ham for my sarnies tonight.

Was lovely and cool earlier warming up but a nice breeze hope it doesn't get as hot as Friday.
We are off to a bbq with Mark, Lauren, Joel and Tia later at theirs. Haven't seen Joel and tia since 7th March so looking forward to catching up with them.
Have a feeling we will need to put the portable air cooler on for Dillon before we leave.
I cleaned all the filter it has yesterday not realising our one had any. It was only on researching replacing it that I learnt it did indeed have filters and that was maybe why it wasn't working as well as when we bought it back in 2007.

Good luck to dad with the cement laying griff. You are sounding a little chirpier.
