Morning Moyra and Kazz and those to come. Now then for all you gardening enthusiasts: I have a basket that has lobelia in it. They are not trailing ones. Do I leave them in basket and hope they return next year if I put them in the greenhouse or will they just give up? Should I take a chance and hope? Trying to decipher what the internet says is a mine field.

Good morning Moyra, Kazz, Brenda dan all who follow

If it was me Brenda I would take a chance and put them in the greenhouse. Nothing lost if they don't survive but a bonus if they do

Pouring yet again when I got up but have just got back from a walk as it stopped. Garden is sodden but other half keeps on about raking up the acorns Keep telling him he will sink and to leave if for a few days as drier weather is forecast for the beginning of next week.

Hope all are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

Good afternoon all.

It's a lovely day here. Clear blue skies and sunny. Bit cold mind and very soggy underfoot.

Gary went to the dentist a couple of weeks ago. Dentist said he had a gum infection and gave antibiotics and referred him to the hospital. 60 mile round trip to said hospital yesterday to say no infection just that he eats a lot of crisps so his gums where teeth have been removed at the back have hardened. What a waste of a good afternoon that was.

Had a call from a very optimistic social worker yesterday who seems to think he can get him into Barratt Court which is a fantastic, independent living facility. I won't be holding my breath on that one. The previous two social workers were just as confident
