Daily Thread, Saturday, 21st Deptember, 2019

Good morning everyone, another lay in this morning, getting naughty but I'll continue to do it while the flat is cold. I'll go and put the gas fire on in a minute that will take the chill off the flat.

How are you all, hope you are all warm enough, wish I had normal central heating. How are you progressing Harvey, hope you are doing ok. Have a good day wrap up warm and dry and above all I hope you can enjoy the sunshine which is out there now. Stay safe and well, God bless.

Lovely morning here. Had long walk with Teazle, dead headed some bushes and Barry is busy clearing yet more acorns off the lawn

Good morning all

We have night storage heaters too, Moyra. You need to be a weather guru to know when to put them on and turn them off. We do have a calor gas fire which we keep in the hall though and that does the job nicely for weather like this and when it gets really cold as a booster. Unfortunately, there's no gas in our little village and when I hear the complaints of break downs on both oil and calor boilers, I'm not tempted by either. If ever they bring in proper gas though, we'd probably bite the bullet and have it put in.

Time to get ready to go to town.

Walked and fed Dillon then popped into town took a stroll there and back to the American diner for breakfast and picked up a few bits of shopping.
