Of course she should... She's been a prominent figure for quite a few years.. Lesser people get a state funeral.

If you are on about the war/s then fair point, but we also lost servicemen during the fauklands conflict.
She also along with Major afterwards left many many people homeless, jobless and dare I say without hope.

No, nor was the queen mothers, they were both royal ceremonial funerals which while similar are not funded by the taxpayer.
