I am off to Paul and Beth's for lunch today.
Eldest brothers birthday today (Michael). He is 78.

Morning each and all to follow. Difficult to take time for myself as I am stuck here. Would love to get away but daunting on ones own and no mobile or car. Think I may have to get one. But then there is still the daunting problem of going away on ones own. Have always had a companion, either Tyto or my daughter. Both now not around. Daughter disowned me back in December. But won't say much about that on here. Anyway have a good day all. Husband doing ok but he needs to do more now for himself and to stop wallowing. All the checks that were done have found him to be ok just need to take his medication which will keep him on track. It's up to him now. I sound harsh but we all know what our partners are like. bfn.

Oh dear Brenda they really are not easy to live with when not well. Hope he pulls himself together and takes his medication. Mind you I have to make sure Barry does his eyes sometimes he remembers the early evening one but the rest I leave out for him where he can see it.

Overcast here but so far dry. Have taken the chance to hand one lot of washing out and now bedding is spinning and will then go out too. Busy busy today getting ready for youngest son to come tomorrow. Plan of leaving about 4.00 so should be in time for his flight.

Sue, I take it Barry has eye drops like me for Glaucoma. They are a problem because they have to be kept in the fridge and I forget to use them too. It's a nuisance.

A pleasant day here - just my type of weather, not cold but not hot either.

Brenda, they can be a real pain in the bum when they're not well and they do tend to milk it. With Dave, I withdraw slowly, one step at a time to get him back in the swing.

I have an old 'phone without a sim card that I have set alarms on to remind to take medications (both of us) and I make sure that we both take them as soon as the alarm goes off. It's the only thing that works for us
