The Royal Wedding - interested or not?

I'm surprised there hasn't been a thread about this already.

Will you be watching or doing anything interesting on Friday? or could you care less?

I personally will be working and I'm in the 'not overly interested but will watch the highlights on the 10 o'clock news' camp. Me working means that I thankfully avoid the awful street party some people down my road are putting on...I don't like any of our neighbours much at all so it suits me!

No interest whatsoever.

I would like to see the dress but, thats it and it will be on the front page of all the newspapers on Saturday.

Managed to get the whole 3 series of Hamish McBeth so, inbetween a massive dog walk and a few wee jobs I will be watching those.

No interest here either, I've got some gardening planned assuming the weather holds.
I thought we had a thread about it last week but I couldn't find it.

I'm having a party!!

I'm in the middle of planning my wedding so I'm a bit wedding daft at the mo. I'm really excited to see how pretty she looks and how people are dressed etc. So we are having mates over and a BBQ

I'd see teeny bit of interest - not doing anything special - will be grooming Connor for champ show the next day and it will probably be on tv - but no special events or parties to attend take part in!

Ken is working still too!

Think there is a street party on and I thought about taking the girls but didn't look into it.

Proud of my youngest who said she wants to watch as it is the future King and Queen

In the afternoon we plan to have a "proper" afternoon tea. I'm making egg and cress sandwiches, neighbour cucumber(without crusts of course Her sister is making fruit cake eclairs scones pancakes and viennese finger biscuits and we are opening a bottle of last year's elderberry wine

No offence to those who are watching it or like it, but personally for me I don't care for it or have any interest in it what so ever.

The champagne is on ice, the strawberries ordered, and sandwiches planned.

Cannot wait, I LOVE a bit of pageantry, add a bit of colour and revel in what we as a country do best!

Taking the dogs out very early so can relax and indulge.

i shall also be watching it, not making any special celebrations or arrangements though. the royal family is 1 of the things that makes Britain unique, and a royal wedding brings everybody together in the celebration of it, even if it is just watching it
