2 poems about Fudge.

I have been having a go at writing poetry, nothing serious just a quick scribble so thought I would share them with you.

Fridge Raider

While we are in our beds all sleeping
Across the kitchen she is creeping.
To the fridge she makes her way
Looking for some easy prey.
Silently she springs the door
And lays her feast out on the floor.
Chorizo, salmon, ham and cheese
She gulps them down with gleeful ease.
The bounty gone, back in her bed
She snuggles down and rests her head.
She waits there for the sun to rise
And us to find her kind surprise.
She is my Fudge, my true best friend
I just won’t love that bad back end!

My Only Fudge

Fridge raider. Stream wader.
Under bedder. Hair shedder.
Deep sleeper. Bounty keeper.
Garden lapper. Knee tapper.
Eye winker. Little stinker!
Love bringer. Tuneful singer.
Early riser. Always wiser.
Yappy barker. Scent marker.

But who am I to sit and judge.
My life, my soul, my only Fudge.
