Are peppers poisonous

I have give all my lot the odd slice of pepper(red/green/orange) and it has never done any harm, yet Star(yes him again) has just pinched a full one and I am wondering if a full one my cause any damage witht he seeds.

Hi stormey.
Not that I know of. I'm a VN and never heard of poisoning by pepper. Might cause upset tummy but I dont think they are poisonous.
They are part of the nightshade variety but the poisonous strain.

This one lists ornamental pepper as dangerous but with digestive upsets only. Im sure he'll be fine.

my sam loves peppers (but only now and again). he also loves cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce and carrot. healthy or what??

Peppers are fine (not toxic) but should not be given in large quantities to arthritic animals as it can aggrivate the condition.

So I wouldn't worry.
