"The Bible" Anyone else watching this?

It has.to be said that the bible is an excellent novel with some great stories that make great movies

No, but I wouldn't mind, I'll check it out on On Demand. I'm not religeous, but looking back, I do know I could never understand a word of it at school, so it would be interesting to see if that's changed now that I'm older. I'd also like to read it to test out the conspiracy theories that have been going about. I remember something in the 70's being quite controversial, it was a book, saying it was aliens coming down to earth. Yes, would be interested to watch this programme, what channel was it on Kazz?

If you step back and think about it rationally the alien origin of man has much more credibility and is therefor less controversial than the religious versions

I've been meaning to watch it as I kept seeing the adverts for it.

When did it start and on what channel ?

I watched some of it about Samson and found it rather gruesome.
It has some exciting stories, and I would think there is a basis of historical truth in them.

They are making it into a movie for anybody interested ( probably just Jesus life part of it)

Jesus is too white too pretty boy too American

its like a throwback to those old 60/70s movies when everyone else in the modern era has revisited old stories with an approach of gritty realism and authenticity

Such a shame they could have made something slightly less commercial and a bit more 'earthy' LOL
