I remember seeing that crash, it was awful, so very sad.
Had yet another puppy enquiry so been sorting them out.
They're coming out of the woodwork at the moment.
They're not too far from me, and have got through the first phase, so I will invite them over to meet everyone and grill them gently over a slow fire.
Watched Vera tonight between phone calls and emails, it is a new series, enjoy watching that, so very different from the normal run of cops n'robbers, or should I say murderers!!!

His lordship is calling - Father Ted is on apparently, and he always insists that I watch it with him

Nighty night and be good.

Oh, you snooked in TW as I was typing. Those puppies are in high demand and they are not even a twinkle in a dog's eye yet You had better instruct Mabs to have at least ten pups

I was going to watch Vera but never got round to it.

Have to go. Nighty night again

10 puppies I am still recovering from the 12 that Lona had 19 months ago
I'm bound to have someone drop out, they always do.
I've got one couple who live near Zillar so they are going over to meet her next Saturday, and this couple who will be coming over in a week or so, plus 4 (I think) already on my list, so 6 will do nicely thank you
6 puppies is a walk in the park after the Dirty Dozen, mind you the Fab Four were a total utter Nightmare

No Eileen I can't, I have 4 already, and I have to think of coping with them when I am older. I took a bit of a risk when I kept Keshi, I bred that litter specifically for me, but still have to bear in mind I am 64 now, and she is going to be my last large breed dog, very sadly, but I have to face facts and it wouldn't be fair to have another youngster and not give it the life it needs.
My friend and I bought Cruz specifically to help widen the gene pool and he was bought with Lona in mind. When the time came, I was exhausted after Lona's 12 and then Cariad's 4, but it was a now or never situation, and I did the mating, however Lona re-absorbed the puppies at around 3 or 4 weeks, to be honest I wasn't that upset about it because I was so tired, but it was Lona's last chance as she is now retired as she is 8 this time, so instead Lona's daughter, Mabs, is going to go to Cruz and she will have the litter on behalf of her mother, and we will then be able to introduce fresh health tested bloodlines into the breed, and then that will more than likely be it for me.

Loads of people can never believe I am 64, apparently I have no lines and am 'very agile'
