A Dog's Purpose movie dog not terrified?

Producers of this movie say the dog was not terrified this slow motion video tells a different story.

That poor dog was terrified.
How could the owner stand by and watch that happen or anyone for that matter.

It is obvious to everyone that the dog really really did not want to get in that water. And its a stunt dog, trained to do things most dogs would balk at.

No, not terrified, but extremely uncomfortable and very, very unhappy at being forced into that water. I have seen and experienced a truly terrified large dog and the behaviour was light years away from this. Still does not make it right, and it is still very, very wrong.

I thought he was going to drown in the end I would have jumped in myself to help him. It was all done just to get a traumatic video that was realistic because it was real fear.

There was something on social media the other day that said the authorities were looking into the footage and it was likely that action would be taken. Rightly so, in my opinion.

I thought that vets were supposed to be on site when filming. If so, there are a lot of people that are culpable - owners, producers, vets and everyone else concerned. An example should be made

When Dillon had his first hydro session it was cut short as it was clear he was uncomfortable.
On his second visit we decided to try the pool again as first time round may just of been him getting use to it. He was so frightened the nurse in with him pulled him up onto the ramp and another who was on the side of the pool was checking his heart he was in such a state. All that in a matter of minutes. He was kept there to settle down then we got him out and ended the session.
His third session the treadmill was tried and he was absolutely fine and always walked straight in.
That poor dog was frightened i've seen it with Dillon and that dog had the same body language as he did.
I agree everybody concerned with this needs to be brought to account.

They held off the launch last weekend because of all the poor publicity this clip made but they will release the movie this Friday with this scene still in it.

That video was shocking! Apparently the dog is from a company called Birds and Animals Unlimited. I will not be seeing this movie.
