Thanks everybody. The various issues which were leading to the induction have abated so Karen now has a few days without any checks.

Next Tuesday she is to have a scan as they think the baby might be big. This is to determine whether or not 'intervention' is likely during the delivery.

Providing it's not too big she can have the baby at Perth (midwife unit) rather than Ninewells hospital in Dundee.

Heaven forbid!

I hope it's a tiny tot - no more than 6lbs - and pops out with no bother, and hardly a grunt from Karen........
