No agility for us!

Oh well, found out this morning that our 3 local agility clubs all have 2 year waiting lists

There's no other clubs in the area that I could get to in time for their training classes on a weeknight....

Oh well, will have to make my own agility course in the garden!

I waited 7 months for my agility course. In fact the waiting list is so long I'm seriously thinking of setting up my own 'fun' agility classes! So many people want to do it but can't get on. I only got on because they added me as an extra not found me a space!

Oh no!!! 2 years! really! gosh that is crazy - it is so hard to get into isn't it! Seems so harsh!

I'm sure you have but did you check all the clubs listed on

http://www.agilitynet.co.uk

Maybe some just outside your area if you can travel?

But getting some of your own equipment will give you something to do!

Yes, the waiting times are incredibly long. Even a few years ago when we started, we had to wait a good few months. It is certainly worth waiting for a good club though, you need to introduce your dog carefully to all the equipment lest they should have a bad experience and be put off

Thanks everyone...

I checked Agilitynet and there is a club who's winter training is on a sunday morning!! There's a bit of a waiting list, but it's not 2 years!

Thanks Greyhawk... Max has used most agility equipment before, the only things we've not done before are weaves.

2 years is a long time, i was on the waiting list for a year bfore i got a place but its well worth the wait. And while you wait you can practice in your garden.

Max will be nearly 4 by then!! I'd probably have forgotten we'd put our names down...

Maybe I should put Murphy's name down now, he's only 9 weeks old...
