Plasma Tv causing broadband Problems

Here's one for you ..
we got a Plasma tv at the weekend and since then we've had problems with the broadband connection we run a Linsky wireless router connected to the X box 360 by cable and wireless to the pc and the laptop - now every time the telly is on the connection on the modem keeps dropping
We've systematically checked this this afternoon after being on the phone all day yesterday to the Isp provider and to Linsky
I've had a squizz about on some forums and they go on about RF noise ???
The router is in a seperate room from the tv about 20 feet away ..is there a brainiac out there who has a solution for me please ?? .....in small words please

We have a 42inch plasma tv, had it for 2 1/2 years, and our router is in the office which, like yours, is about 20ft away from the tv in a different room. We have three wireless connections going to pc's or laptops throughout the house and never had a problem.

Sorry that doesn't help you but at just trying to show it's not necessarily the plasma screen.

Becky I'm sure it is - I've moved the modem upstairs and wired it to the pc - as soon as the tv is turned on it drops the signal and picks it back up as its turned off

It's not a Toshiba by any chance ?

To resolve it, try changing the channel number on your wireless router.

No idea if this is related but we have problems with Sky and our wireless router. We lose the internet connection every time Sky dials in. Just wondered if you have Sky and it could be the same problem? Just a thought
