Agility demonstration

The agility club I am in has been asked to do a charity agility demonstration

Problem is I just know everyone will pretty much leave it till the day, turn up, set up some equipment then stand around a bit

So I wanted to pick you guys brains
any ideas of things to do for an agility demonstration? We have full kit which we will be taking, plenty of space AFAIK, dogs of all sizes and experience

any ideas/anyone done anything like this?
Obviously some kind of intro do the dogs and agility
But I was wondering about something a little more exciting?
There was a head to head thing at crufts - 2 dogs started in the centre - raced round a circle - one starting at 12oclock one at 6 then raced once round and back to the center

That might be fun
any other ideas?

Thats just it - you know about as much as me!! Mail sent out asking who can do it - thats all
and I just KNOW noone will really think of any more than who is going and how to get the kit there, then we will turn up on the day and look daft (well dafter than usual)
So I thought I would pick Dogseys brains for ideas

Our display team for the intro we have the large dogs running the outside of the course and smaller dogs running the inside of the course. (Have to make sure the dogs are ok running at the same time though) then we all do individual courses and our commentator introduces the dog and handler and says a little about them, then some more courses with 2 dogs running at the same time and we also do relay races. You could do a knockout competition. I also run my 3 dogs on a jumping course at the same time which looks quite spectacular, so if you have someone with 2 dogs you could get them to do that, no contact equipment just jumps and maybe a tunnel. The audience love it. We have great fun doing these displays.

We do lots of agility demonstrations. They are great fun and especially good for the young dogs.

Something I think is very important is having somebody on a loudspeaker talking to the crowds all the time. We always make it fun with a description of the dog running at the time and a bit of picking on the handler!!

We usually have nice easy flowing courses so the dogs are moving fast. We do relay races and also have up to 5 dogs running at the same time.

Have a great day
