I am glad the day went well, that sounds pretty perfect

I know what you mean about things still not feeling quite real, I think in some ways they never do and in other ways it sort of sinks in more over time
Guess its your minds way of coping with things

My thoughts are still with you over the comming days, but what a lovely comfort for you to know that she was so loved

Oh, I just saw this... I have gone through and read all your updates... So so sorry about you mum It sounds very similar to what my gran was like at the end, and although we were all devastated when she passed, we knew she was at peace and free from pain so we held comfort in that.

(((hugs)))

I'm glad the day went smoothly for you MM. The photo wall was a lovely idea. We didn't have a 'wall' for my mum, but we put hundreds of her old photos out on a big tray and told everyone there they could take whichever ones they wanted to keep.

I am sure it was a comfort to you to see just how many people turned out to pay their respects to your mum and her memory.

I am glad that your mum's funeral went as well as could be expected and that so many of her family and friends came to bid her farewell. It must have been a comfort to you.

The photo wall sounds lovely

Take your time to come to terms with your loss and make time to grieve and think about your mum's life. Take care xxx

I'm glad your Mum's funeral went as well as can be expected and what a tribute to have 100 or so people turn up
Thinking of you at this difficult time.

Sounds like a great ceremony for a wonderful woman.

Of course it hasn't sunk in yet. Part of you will never accept it. Don't force anything...there's no right way of mourning. Just take in your feelings as they happen and give yourself loads and loads of time.

Lots of hugs and strength from here.
