A warning!!! My midwife told me to take some cod liver oil when my first baby was late. She said that it should get things moving. What I hadn't done was ask how much to take. Nothing happened after two teaspoonfuls so I ended up having a few large gulps ......... big mistake All it did was give me the most awful stomach ache and chronic wind Thank goodness I didn't actually go into labour then as I couldn't possibly have gone into hospital with the wind that I was expelling!!!!

Good luck and I hope you go into labour very very soon!!

My eldest daughter was a day early, my youngest a day early and my son was 9 days late, which meant I had to cook the christmas turkey for 9 people with not much help from the rest of hubby's family (now ex hubby). Having said that like SBear it was like shucking peas when I did get going. Two hours for all of them - the one thing in life I was good at!........
