Question for those of you with big dogs

Just interested to know what your dog sleeps in/on....?

Dexter has a basket that is the size of a small paddling pool. We fill it with blankets and a nice soft duvet and we change it every week.

But I've realised that big as it is, he still can't stretch his legs out 100%.

A friend of mine has a smaller Labrador but he sleeps on a mattress; it looks far less 'cosy' but it's very big, just wondering if something like that might be better for Dex.

Thanks for your responses

The floor...or one of the 48" crates with a duvet in it for Kiba. He also has a doggy hammock which he loves and various blankets and duvets all around the house. But usually he'd rather be on the sofa all curled up

Daisy has a big bean bag with a duvet on top. Shamus has a sofa but usually sneaks in with me. (Both in my room)
Razzle has a huge dog mattress covered with a duvet but sometimes sleeps on the vetbed beside Bran.
Bran has a very large plastic dog-bed with 2 duvets folded in it.
My dogs like their comfort, you see.

Ours had a single duvet folded in half on 2 sides of the room and then a double duvet folded in 2 in the bedroom.

My mum used to make the covers for the dogs' duvet. The duvets were spares or cheap ones from asda!

a huge plastic bed, its big enough to fit two gsd's in when they are curled up, ty can stretch right out in it, he has had it since he was a pup, prob about 4 months, he is 6 this year i have xeva's mattress bed in it just now as she likes to sleep beside him or in that bed if ty is in his fave spot my bed lol

usually there is an old duvet in there but i throw that out when i get a new duvet and he gets the one that was on my bed

Because of her neck Mo always had a dog matteress on the floor where she could stretch out. But she always crept up on our bed in the early hours of the morning crushing our feet

Yes, she has her own sofa. She's not spoilt...honest

Casper has a rectangular cushion, about 3-4' wide. He often prefers sleeping on the floor though, or on the rug in the living room.
I heard somewhere that dogs need to be able to lay flat to get proper REM sleep, hence why my two don't get round beds.
