Ah now Mary, Mungo and Midge. And Bagpuss. And The Magic Roundabout. Camberwick Green and Trumpton. Clangers, The Herbs and Chigley. Many more. But I think my favourite was Champion The Wonder Horse and Rin Tin Tin. Do you remember the Crossed Eyed lion called Clarence?

Loved watching that again. Watch with Mother was a lovely thing and I loved the Wooden tops too.
I was singing along to Dillon made him go all silly.

Brilliant

I was an early 70s kid (not quite early Bill and Ben) but enjoyed the likes of Andy Pandy, The Clangers, Bagpuss etc

Who remembers Hartley Hare ?

Lol at you there mjfromga!!
I meant NO idea, not NICE idea! Darn auto correct. Was "interesting" to watch at the very least. My mother watches old American western black and white T.V. shows and I always ask her, "OMG how can you watch that bland stuff?"

With so much vivid color in T.V. now, I could never watch that stuff, but I suppose there is the age difference. She enjoys it and watches it on the clock each day without fail.

I was in my late 20's when I first had colour TV, and then it was because I was sharing a house with someone who had one installed already. It was all very trendy even the phone was a trimphone, anyone else remember them
