We always end up with meduim size, but thats because I am a BC mad woman.
Patrick would probably go for larger as he has always like Dobies, although he has only ever own one. But his past dogs have always been GSD's and a Chow.

Me I have owned JRT and SBT as well as BC's

Hi Spaznchevy, welcome to Dogsey, I love Min Pins How about posting some pics?????

Like you I love dogs of all shapes sizes and breeds but at the moment what suits my home and family is the small to medium, so I have 1 Mini Schnauzer and 2 Affenpinschers.

The majority on this forum seem to prefer medium to large as they are all old fogeys who worry that they are going to trip over a small dog. Joking! You know I love you all!!!

J.

I like larger dogs and, in particular the gundogs...I love their whacky temperaments

I grew up with a labrador/cocker cross, then had my first Irish Setter, then my first English Setter, a couple of Pointers and now back to just the one English...they are my favourite breed and I couldn't imagine myself without one.

Welcome to Dogsey by the way

There is only one breed for me, but generally:

I like a dog betwen 18 and 24 inches tall at the wither,
Prick eared,
dry headed (no loose skin or lips),
dark eyed,
double coated,
self sufficient (not too clingy) but affectionate,
sociable, but not a walk over.
