mine gets a bit like this in the winter too.. I just sluice the patio area down with hot water and a good brand anti bacterial floor cleaner, (low concentration) and scrub with a yard broom..

The grass seems to sort itself out, but hosing down any poo spots or wee burns will help keep odour down.. at least until the snow hits.. then it's just do the best you can and dread the thaw :P

There is a special cleaner thats used in kennels called Mistral which is supposed to be excellent and dog friendly.

I use diluted Jeyes Fluid on the paving and let it dry before the dogs go on it. I also hose everything down every few days. With 4 big dogs in a small garden it`s a necessity.

You can use Jeyes on the grass but make sure it is very diluted as it will burn the grass if not. They give the dilution rate for grass on the can.

Put it in a watering can

Odourfresh is fantastic, no good for the grass but can be used on the patio.
I'm currently using a bottle of the coconut 'flavour' smells lovely and I use it indoors in my kitchen too

Have had fab reviews for Mistral. Another tip that's got to be a lot less smelly (and safer for the dogs) is biological washing powder used to rinse patios down as it tackles the odours.
