Mini - Fascinating, I couldn't stop reading (SWMBO has been in twice telling me dinners in the oven, probably in the dog now )

I had no idea these large kennels ever existed. Loved the story of TT and the Donkey and all the dogs of course.

Have you considered sending it to one of the monthly publications?

Please add more when you have time.

Thank you briane, issy, maebme and Losos for your lovely comments

Losos there were many large kennels back in the 60' when I started working with dogs, I think they have all but gone now. Keeping dozens of dogs and a staff of 5 or 6 would be prohibitively expensive these days.

No monthly publications, the articles belong to Dogsey
I may write some more one day .

What a great story teller you are Mini I really enjoyed reading of your days in the large kennels. Hope you will add to this when you get a chance as I for one would like to read more. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this and for sharing it with us.

Great stories of your life as a kennel maid it bought back a lot of memories of when at 15 years old I went to work in a hunting stables Oh the excitement the scariness of it all you bought it all back from the dark corners of my memory I was never lucky enough to own my own horse but my daughter has had horses all her life and I now have a wonderful little Miniature Schnauzer bitch who is the love of my life...
Thankyou for writing your memoirs.... would love to hear more
Sue
