Good morning Moyra and all who follow

I make my own trifle, no sherry as I don't like it and no fruit because eldest son doesn't like it. So really mine are just sponge, jelly and blancmange/custard.

Dull and rain forecast for this afternoon. Teazle walked, some perennial plants cut down a bit so the winter winds don't destroy them, sprouts picked and frozen and Teazle tidied and nails filed. Now coffee time

Hope all are well

Have a good day and stay safe

Good morn all
Just one problem living here and that is the leaves falling from 4 big oak trees in our garden and oak trees next door. So yet again another go at cleaing roof gutters. Apart from 9 large plastic sacks full from the lawn I did clear the back of house roof gutter. This morning did same at the front which resulted in another bag full.

Good morning all

Been to work and home again its pouring down, almost bouncing back up actually. So Gert walk will have to wait a bit will back a run out if necessary. Going to have a roast dinner today with carrots, roasters stuffing and mash I think I am trying to work my way through the freezer before December so using a chicken breast quarter.

Hope you all have a good day have to say I am not a trifle fan, but like your logic Chris.

Ugghhh Griff wonder if you are getting the after effects of standing in the cold the other day. Sue you get such a lot done and all I have done is gone to work.

I just feel exhausted, helped my dad drain the central heating system and absolutely done in now... when I say helped, that may have been a stretch... just passing stuff and offering the use of my wet and dry hoover which he approved of this time...men!!

Well have to say that was the nicest roast dinner I have had in years I think really enjoyed it. In fact will replicate for Christmas day and hope for the same results.
