Good morning Chris and all who follow

Enjoy your walk

Hope Mark manages to get a car today Lynn

Lovely morning here although chilly and a little windy. Spent yesterday watering the back lawn having put fertiliser on it on Friday as the promised rain had not happened. Then it rained for most of the afternoon so wasted my time Never mind it should be well watered in.

Hope all are well.Stay safe.

Morning Chris, Sue and all to follow.

Us to Sue. He is off to see another one today looks very nice and it has good service history to.
The guy with the other car messaged him yesterday asking if he wanted to arrange to go over today and test drive the car as he couldn't the other evening, Mark has left it open and will see this other car first. Plus he says there are few more about in the area he is looking in.
This other guy will never sell that car, sometimes I wonder if people really do want to sell their cars.
It's not helpful to people like Mark who works shifts, has limited time and also now taking Lauren into consideration as she went to back to sort the shop ready for reopening and Mark is borrowing her car.

Nice sunny day but a chilly wind. Washing out, roofers warned me yesterday they are having to grind one of the chimneys next door which also like the roof needs repairs, well the roof has been replaced totally, so they will be creating a bit of dust tomorrow.
Then finished and the scaffolders will be back at some point later or Tuesday to remove the scafffolding.
The roofers boss will be there to oversee it and check our fascia. If not him the guys who have done the roof will be back.

Have a safe day all.

Morning all
Chris...we have sun and had a little snow earlier but although it looks lovely and warm.... it's cold as anything
Sue, I chucked some grass seed down the pigeons have ate it all....I am not bothered, the lawn will sort itself out eventually
Lynn, well, let's hope today finds a car for Mark
Kota seems a little better today, dad's not helping, she keeps lying and saying she wants the toilet...I know fine well she doesn't but he keeps letting her out of her crate....I told him if you let her out, you put her right back in... it's for her own good, not nice for any of us to do but the specialist told us what to do and she had a set back the other day so I am being very strict

Yayyyyy Mark has a car a really nice Mondeo. Lots of bells and whistles and the spec was very good and loads of service history and extended service history, new cam belt recently, so hopefully he has bought a goodun.

I haven't got to sort out temporary cover notes today and we will be keeping a few pounds in the bank to.

griff so difficult when family think they're helping.

Really pleased for Mark!
Yes, he has skillulked off upstairs now, he is always the same... it's me and mum that deal with her all day every day so I think we have the right to say how things will be, I have already put my life on hold for 7 weeks...not him!

Absolutely griff.
Mark said it has a few more scratches than the pictures showed, but it drove nice going from Peterborough to Huntingdon, he has to get use to driving a beast again after driving Lauren's car since Christmas.
As long as it's mechanically sound a few more scratches than expecting isn't the worse thing.
Trouble with buying used is there are no guarantees plus it was a private sale so no warranty.
Mind you with his Lexus he got done over well and truly with that off a forecourt.
Now his little Astra van he had his first car that wad a bargain private sale did him a good couple of years and he always said he wished he had spent the money on that if he had known what the Lexus was going to end up costing and he scrapped it in the end.

So fingers crossed this time around.

If the scratches aren't deep, he can polish them out.... it's easy to do, you can use t-cut, farecla or Manish shine...I use mantis shine as it's non abrasive and in all honesty, if he has to park at work.....some nob is bound to ding it, dad has BMW's and both have had people smack the door into his and a pillock scraped down the wing mirror in a red van. Steve's work is dreadful, there's far to many cars, no where near enough space and his car is wrecked, one time someone parked that close, he had to squeeze in the passenger door and climb over to the drivers seat

No consideration some people.
I don't suppose he will polish them out to be honest when he gets days off or holidays he likes to garden, go for walks and now the shops are open again Lauren will be wanting to go baby shopping.
