A Comet is a solar body made out of ice, dust & debris-hence the "tail"visible behind them.

A Meteor is the trail left behind of a Meteoroid that has entered the earth's atmostsphere(usually in the mesosphere), Meteoriods can be from dust sized particles to boulder sized oes.

An Asteriod is a small solar body that is in orbit around the Sun & consist of stoney or metallic materials. They are usually bigger than Meteriods

LOL at Smokeybear! TBH I wouldn't know but I have no doubt that 'he who knows all' downstairs would be able to tell you...I have enough to think about with linear and quadratic equations (maths course)...
