1st snow for Midge

We had flurries a couple hours before dawn & the 1st I knew of it was taking Midge outside. She didn't want to get off the porch then when she did, barked at the snow with every step she took. So I threw a ball & she decided the white stuff was fine with her. She lost her mind running like a crazy dog & I had to go leash her before I could get her back in the house. I'm hoping she'll get to experience a real snowstorm.

You spelled Wisconsin right
WNC is how people here refer to Western North Carolina probably because WNC University is nearby. I don't really know why. I'm just a transplanted Yankee who fell in love with a picture and moved here a year later.

View from my front yard in fall.

View from my backyard in winter.

Great shots of Midge's first experience of snow They are
so funny when they first see snow .... and my boys were just as funny with sand as well
You have stunning views ... in fact very similar to my aunt and uncle's view. They are in Pennsylvania and back on to the Susquehanna River with the Appalachian Mountains as their backdrop.
Thanks for posting the lovely photos

Wonderful landscape views there. I have a pal in Canton Georgia and the photos she sends me are breathtaking. Especially in the 'fall'.
