Worrying Scary Wednesday 25th May 2022

Morning all. Yep a scary Wednesday morning. My batteries in the smoke alarms started beeping and as I can't undo them with my dodgy hands I asked the lady downstairs called Sandra to help. Well the first one was ok to do but the second one she very nearly fell off the steps and I had to quickly catch her. Not a good moment. Hope all is well with you all. Still a bit shakey after the incident. Have a good day.

Good morning Brenda

Pleased your neighbour is ok after her scare on the ladder and hope your smoke alarms are now ok

Overcast here but at least dry. Spent the day yesterday at Ben's looking after the youngest who was ill and likes someone to sit with her and a Ben was working all day (although at home) that fell to me. We sat and watch a couple of films. Today she is still home and I am waiting there what I have to dod this afternoon. There is a meeting at the school with I think I will have to attend as too early for Ben to go.

Hope all are well Take care.

Morning Brenda
See I am a nightmare in situations like that, I literally laugh my head off! My mate at work was using a blow torch and he couldn't see the flame, he put it near to his nose....of course it was lit and he burnt his nose badly....both myself and one of the lads were in absolute hysterics.....the thing I should have done was at least get a wet rag but it took me 20 minutes before I could move.....to this day I still laugh when I think of it.
Rung the DVLA for Steve....they issued his licence 2 weeks ago, he hasn't received it so needs to call and they will issue a free replacement
