Chris, I think our council only ask you to get a licence at £1000..... that's purely because if you rent to 3 people with different surnames you are classed as a hmo. I just get really annoyed with the lack of consideration for his fellow home owners, he regularly just wanders onto our drive and decides to crack on with maintenance...no 2 week notice, infact when he had work done last year he sent a letter to myself and pammy and it was the day Pammy was admitted to hospital for her ovarian cancer surgery, her daughter was expected to get her mums car moved...the thing she didn't need to be bothered with "had" to be moved, she said she would try but if she couldn't get the car started then sorry...tough! He actually turned around and said to her " can it not be pushed out of the way".... He had given 3 days notice so she pointed out that he is legally required to give 14 days for non urgent repairs and his answer was....well they only told me 2 days ago..... errrrrrrrrrrrrr, should you not ask us then agree a date? Nope....he is all that matters, I can't be like that, I think I have been raised to be overly considerate and polite
