Which dog food are you (or your dogs) a fan of?

Most people here will realise that I feed my dog a raw diet, but after looking through other threads, I just got curious as to what dry food people feed and why?

What are the main reasons, what makes you feel your dog is best on that food etc Also, for fussy dogs, which brand do you feel they eat easier etc (maybe I should make a poll on that too...hhmmm)
Where/who do you buy it from?

I have just put the 5 most highly mentioned dry foods (IMHO) and an 'other' in the poll or it would have taken over Dogsey with the amount of brands out there, however please do mention what you feed in your post if thats ok.

Dexter has two meals a day, one of which is dry food. It's Fish4Dogs - I like it because it's only fish and potato and seems to be the only kibble that doesn't cause Dex to itch.

Also, the size of the kibble pieces is nice and large, which I think is more enjoyable for Dex to get his chops around

Hi Dobermann

Just to add: when I started trying to find the 'right' foods for Dex, I had a list of 'bad' ingredients that I knew I would never let him eat. I then had to email all the dog food companies to check if they included them. I got really helpful responses from most of them and was able to rule one out.

I'm not a fan of kibble - but when I stopped giving it to Dex it really upset his tummy and he seems to thrive on the Fish4Dogs - though I don't feed it for his second meal each day.

Hi I feed my 9 year old GSP JWB . She used to be on Dr Johns but as she had a lot of skin probs I decided to buy a more expensive food & started her on JWB It is supposed to be hypo allergenic She has turkey & rice. Since feeding her this her skin is in normal condition. Now she is older she has prefered soft canned food so I mix in Butchers cans with the JWB! Expensive but at least it all gets eaten and she is a well contented dog.. Interesting to find out what others are feeding their dogs. I don't think I could ever feed her BARF.
