Budgie!!

We got this little chap yesterday! The boys have wanted a bird that will sit on them for ages - we have a zebra finch, no chance there!!

I put my hand in earlier to start getting him used to me and he happily hopped on and stayed!! He will very gently nibble a finger through the bars, we plan on him having free time out of his cage once he i more used to us.

Any name suggestions? We can't decide!

Wow thats weird isn't it? The blue and white one is getting on a bit now because it was one that an old man had to get a new home for because he had breathing problems and my daughter Laura who was at her grandmas kindly told the man that I would have them because we had birds Her partner died about 4 years ago - although she didn't particularly get on with him and used to bully him and he paired off with another bird instead. I rehomed all my cockatiels to a house where they had a large outdoor avary about 2 years ago but they didn't really want a budgie and she was the only one left out of the budgies so I kept her and bought her a friend. She was a bit bossy with him at first but now they get on really well and seem really happy together.
