Would you be afraid of this???

Mo loves to lie in our front porch at this time of day because the sun is fully in there and she is a sun worshipper
It is ok at this time cos the post man etc has long been and gone...............or so I thought.
A young lad has just been to deliver the weekly free news paper. Mo went ballistic, jumping and barking. The lad nearly jumped out of his skin and stood holding his chest and panting for breath
Despite me telling him to wait so that I could get hold of Mo, he continued to put the paper through the letterbox.
When he had gone I was laughing fit to burst. The whole thing had looked so funny. Mo is so territorial!

God don't my windows look dirty? It's all this rain, you know

Good for Mo. Len's the same with anyone coming to the door. Whatever comes through the letterbox, Len has pulled through. He hates people coming to the door.
Fortunately, I have less glass, and therefore less snot marks

I`ve had to put a post-box thing on my wall for the post...he used to ring the bell then run back to behind the gate. Daisy is a little enthusiastic and the door used to bounce as she crashed into it bellowing defiance.

She is lovely, and just like Archie (Ruby) he lays in the porch as it's very sunny there too!
He also has a good bark up if anyone comes to the door until I say Its ok, then i get "the look" and he stops ....sometimes

As a result of sickness, we had a totally new relief postie the other day. Because he was late (we thought the usual guy had passed us with nothing), the dogs were out in the garden.
I was amused to see this relief guy trembling on the outside of the gate, with Snorri-dog barking his head off. Not that the postie was to know, but Snorri-dog is about as dangerous as a soaked bap!
