Wee infection signs ? (Cystitis / Urinary tract infection)

i think poppy might have an infection but im not sure , she squats to wee but it is only a dribble , and she doesn stand up right wawy she hovvers near the floor as if she still needs to go , she has been doing it all morning are there any other signs to look for or is that enough to say that is it an infection ?

Could be cystitis, my Jasmine had this during her first season, we took her to the vet she had an anti-inflammatory injection and a course of tablets, within 1/2 hour she pee'd a river, the look of relief on her face was amazing

thats what i was wondering i use to get cystitis myself and in a dog way she is similar if that makes sense

Hi Ella's mum if it is a urinary tract infection there is increased urination/staining/only small amounts of urine being passed and sometimes bleeding or spots of blood on the floor. (Amy managed to get a UTI on Christmas morning )

Try to encourage poppy to keep drinking as much as she can and I would see the vet if you think there is a problem

lots of water and then vets if it doesn't clear up. Hope she's feeling better soon

we wentto the vets last night and she had a temp , and a urine intract infection but not a bladder infection { althou i thought it was the same thing } so she had an injection and has a course of anti biotics , she seems more able to go now

When my dog Cody has a bladder infection I give her cranberry juice in a syringe, you can see the difference in a couple of day,s
