Casey had parvo

Really don't know why I'm typing this, we all feel so terrible, she's just had an injection from the vets, another tomorrow. Managing to get a small amount of food and water into her. Just feel so helpless

If your dogs has parvo she should really be at the vets right now receiving critical care treatment, has your vet ran tests to confirm it is parvo?

Your 9 week old puppy has Parvo OMG have you told the breeder as she must have contracted it whilst with the breeder.

I'm surprised that a breeder would let a Cavalier go to a new home so young, most are at least 10 weeks if not older.

Hope she recovers as it can be deadly in such a young pup.

Has your vet suggested anything special for her. I always have B Sorb for my dogs in case of illness

Have to agree with this. I don't want to frighten you but this can be a fatal disease very quickly and early treatment is crucial.

Hope your puppy recovers soon. Could it be bad tummy bug rather than parvo?

Thanks everyone, she's been tested positive, today, we aren't at the drip stage yet says the vet. Vet gave her an injection of something. I've got to take her back tomorrow for another jab and to see how's she's doing.

Just sat on the floor with her on my lap giving her a huge hug.

You poor things Have you informed the breeder? The other pups in the litter might also be suffering.

I do hope your vet can get on top of this dreadful condition and that your lovely pup will be ok.

Sending positive vibes.

Thank you so much. Yes we've told the breeder, the other two pups seem fine, so maybe she caught it in her first few hours with us.
