we feed all our dogs on a raw diet, which is as follows
bones:chicken frames, necks ,beef bones and some times we get a full lambs spine and ribs
meat: beef ,chicken, lamb + organ meat liver, kidney, heart a few times a week.
fruit & veg: you can use most as long as they are washed and put through a food processor. we all so use fresh herbs and an Omega-3 Food Supplement + a vitamin supplements like SA37
hope this helps

Thank you, I have that book.. Well I have a copy AND the original. But the original is supposed to be going back to Spain soon

Christine was so nice to send it to me.. And I've read it 3 times, but I seem to find new things all the time, so have to go back and read it again

Yes I know some dogs have a problem with digesting pork. But Luna doesnt have any problems, if only fed it one day at a time..

And I did feed veg before (crushed in the foodprocessor) but since she had a few problems with her tummy, I'm starting out with one thing at a time.. The veg (and the organ meat) will be added, when I've tried all the meat and rmb I can get here.

The rabbits will have to wait till the 1. of april as I cant afford it right now, but I have 2 freezers filled with a lot of other things..

It was like this 3 weeks ago.

I've starved her of breakfast on thursday the 16. of february. She had dinner at 6 pm on wednesday the 15. and then not untill 6 pm thursday evening.

It was very dark brown.

I was thinking.. We were out at around 3 pm and she ate something.. Cat poo by the smell of it.. Or some kind of poo anyway... I couldnt catch her Could that be it??

Could be B/L but could be anything really, she`s had bad wind so that was a bit of a warning

Tell me has she had any fecal tests done to rule out any bugs?

ps and when did she last have any a/b`s & how long for?

No she hasnt, cos my vet said: "I'm sure we wont find anything. Just give yogurt and boiled rice and chicken/fish". Needless to say he isnt exactly pro-raw.

But he will do it, if I come with the samples.. But see she hasnt had any bad wind problems for a while and the poo this afternoon (pre catpoo eating) was shaped and lightorangy/brownish-coloured. And her dinner wasnt anything new.. so I'm guessing on the catpoo thingy (well hoping really )

She hasnt had any antibiotics..

PS!: Just remembered.. she had bad wind prior to our afternoon walk.. it actually started around that time... Hmm maybe its the turkey from this morning then.. It was more meat than bone.. Or the porridge?? She's never had that before....
