To be honest Barry we are a bit weary of it all now and we have set the ball rolling to pull out.
Unless a miracle happens tomorrow that's it for this year anyway.
Hate to think how many properties we have looked at.

We had the same before we got this one It was a bit more than we wanted to spend but 4 years ago around SE England house were selling faster than agents could advertise them.
One day alone we were booked to view 4 houses, the first was sold as we were on our way to view, sue got the call while we were in the car. Next one we would not put a rat in and other two wrong position no wonde wanted to sell.

Another day went back to where we had a previous house, three building firms building loads more houses but all sold off the plans and next release a few months later all sold as well..

Horrendous trying to find somewhere and we were cash buyers no property to sell first.

Saw this one on the internet and rang agents, it had only gone on the market about 3/4 days beforehand. So booked a viewing same day and drove over 100 miles to view.
long and short of it we said we would have it there and then cash offer as long as it was taken off the market. Lucky we did that as there was another viewing the following weekend in about 3 days time

So agents took off the market and we got it, those going to view or had viewed lost out.

Moved in and still needed a lot of work to modernise but all done now and well worth it. In 4 years it has gone up in value a lot, could not afford to buy it now

Love it to bits and not moving again

This will be our last move. so far we haven't found anything that we like enough to modernise. The one we might of considered has possible structural issues can't be going down that route.

I expect they will start popping up now left right and centre after we have pulled out.
