Pippa - 10 year old female Jack Russell Terrier

Pippa, Jack Russell Terrier, DOB 2002 – Reading, Berkshire

Homing requirements: Pippa needs a family to understand her little Terrier ways and admire her for her gifts! Secure garden would be ideal to enjoy off lead fun. Has been fostered with other dogs, cats and a cockatiel but needs confidence in terriers to achieve this! She would engage with visiting children and dog savvy children. Not the 'sweet little love' all terrier to her sinew.

Her Story: Pippa was found stray and chipped, which gave us her name and age. She was unclaimed so went in with another rescue, waiting for Terrierrescue to take her. Spayed, chipped and vaccinated. Fostered in Reading, Berkshire.

Advert: Pippa is a little Miss Terrier. She enjoys meeting new dogs but if too 'familiar' or if standing still ‘face to face’ her nerves can kick in and she starts to 'smile' and tells them off, then its all over, message delivered and she’s off into new things and standing beside them relaxed in no time. She will be devoted to her owner(s) and can live with other dogs but needs someone who won’t blame her for being terrier and has managed 2 dogs before. She needs confidence when introducing her to new dogs, as she can tell them off and once told is friends! House-trained, travels well in a car crated or secured. Initially maybe a little bit clingy, but soon finds her space.

Half pint sized smooth coated, short legged Jack Russell Terrier. Bright ‘beady’ intelligent eyes and knobbly crooked legs. Beautiful colouring and cheeky through and through. She loves toys and food. She will ensure hers is ‘hers’, but has learnt to respect other dogs ‘theirs’! Pippa has been fostered since early April and we're hoping she can go straight into her home avoiding kennelling. Sweetie pie indeed!

If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.

***PLEASE NOTE: We are a rescue finding dogs their forever homes. We usually ask for a minimum donation of £150 at the time of adoption, for each dog, to help us continue helping homeless dogs***.
