Introducing Our Peiby Baby

On Sunday Chloe and I collected our new baby. She's a 10 week old Isabella dilute Shar-Pei with a very posh Hungarian pedigree. She and one of her brothers were named after our new baby prince ... George and Georgina .. in Hungarian her name is pronounced Gay-org-ina!

She's a feisty little lady who's not backwards at coming forward which didn't suit Chloe one bit. Chloe who's a stickler for good doggy manners found it hard to cope and until yesterday wouldn't let Georgina go anywhere near her ... she just didn't want to know this rowdy interloper who was bouncing around HER house! But after a few short sharp lessons in doggy etiquette she's decided that having a baby sister is rather nice and thiis morning has been teaching Georgina the rules of playing zoomies and tug of war!

And I'm a happy Mum as after only spending four nights in the house my little Georgie-Porgy now sleeps all night and does her pees and poos outside. Shar-Pei are an absolute dream to train because they're naturally obedient and learn very quickly.

Anyway here's some photos of our "little bundle of joy" ... not very good I'm afraid because she never still for long enough.

Both are beautiful. My cocker spaniel disapproves of puppies and was horrified when we got Pepe. Pepe wouldn't take no for an answer though, and soon got him to forget he was a dignified middle aged dog, and played like a puppy himself.

I have a friend with a Shar-Pei bitch called Flower - she's as good as gold, and I don't think I've ever known a dog as easy to train as her!

Gorgeous
I met my first real life Shar Pei last week. An absolute darling called Hugh. The lady walking him had his two sisters at home too, she just could not manage all 3 at once.
