Another sunny day here, luckily the wind has dropped, I heard on the radio that some Munster fans are still trying to get back from Wales but the ferries have been cancelled due to rough conditions. There'll be a few ringing work claiming they're sick this morning!!!!!

Well, I've had the day off so my day so far...

up to walk the dogs about 6am (they let me have a bit of a lie in) then back to bed for a proper lie in.

Mid morning walk down by the river - let Hoki swim to wear her out without putting too much strain on her bad knee. Stumpy swam a couple of times, but she's much happier just paddling. Went and sat in Peebles high street for awhile just to let Stumpy watch the world go buy and get used to busier places.

Back home to laize in the garden and just come inside because its too hot out there (just not used to the heat )

Thinking of trying to get an appointment to have my hair cut this afternoon, but hate going with a passion so secretely hoping there's no appointments (but it really needs doing).

TRUE! Just suffer cabin fever every so often still, the dogs are happy!

It's been total pooh here. It's not stopped raining since I got up - the garden is awash, and it's now settled into a steady drizzle - you know, the kind that soaks you right through in a couple of minutes.

Only one more walk left to do - they're not very pleasurable in this weather, especially as Roxy does not like getting her paws wet

I've been at work for 5 hours. Took Dougal for a walk, then bathed the smelly beast afterwards. He found the blackest smelliest puddle to go through and reeked to high heaven!

So once Davie has gone to bed I'll be hoovering the dog hair up that fell out after his bath!
