Daily Thread, Tuesday June 07

Good morning everyone, another bad night guess it wont be better until after the op tomorrow.

Everyone seemed to have a good day yesterday, I hope that it was so.

The sun is out already this morning so fingers crossed it will be a good day. Thanks everyone for your suggestions re cramp hopefully after tomorrow I shall be able to go back on the quinine sulphate.

Have a good day, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless.

Good morning Moyra and all who follow - you'll soon have things over and done with Moyra and then you can concentrate on getting better. Pity you can't get away for a week or two, just you and Amber, I feel sure that a nice break of some sort would be better than any medicine. My best wishes for everything tomorrow, I know it's a bit premature but I never know just when I will post on here and wanted to make sure I got to wish you well.
Today The Mem in her infinite wisdom, has decreed that we should go "out" I think she has intentions on West Yorkshire, where the warm welcome you receive is akin to that received by a pork pie on a Vegan Buffet. Mind you, they can be won over, just produce folding money and the gap-toothed grin of the locals is instantly wider - they may even go as far as a grudging
welcome if they think you'll be spending a fair bit! LOL !
Of course, it is well known that there is only one difference between a Yorkshireman and a coconut - you can get a drink out of a coconut! Tee-Hee!
Have a lovely day everyone - will be back later, so as always, bye fer now!

Good morning

Poor you Moyra but hopefully after tomorrow you will be able to sleep better. Will be thinking of you tomorrow take care.

Gordon you are a very naughty lad but try to "enjoy" your day out with the mem even if it is to foreign parts

Hope after all their papering yesterday that Zen and Lona are now fully recovered.

Enjoy your lazy day you have planned Griff.

Lovely and warm here again but only hazy sun. Nothing much planned today, out to library in a minute and then my friend is coming this afternoon to see if we can get her car insurance down. Have you heard anything so ridiculous, she phoned the company she is with to take here late husband off the policy and to see if they would reduce it. No they came back with a quote nearly £100 higher Told her no she has to have a look round so as she doesn't have the internet anymore I said I would help. I am sure I can get it a lot cheaper than the £400 they were quoting after all she is not driving some super car

Have a good day and stay safe

Another bad night Griff? Are you not having your late night banana?
You seem a bit down of late - do hope things pick up for you - I know they come out with platitudes like "into each life a little rain must fall!" BUT it's no joke when it's persistently peeing it down! lol ! So chin up and all that claptrap or I'll come down there, take you down the legion and get you ratassed! LOL !..........G...XX

Lol thanks LG...no, I had to stop the banana as I got an upset tummy from it. I will be o.k...I m just a bit confused about things at the moment...I have a feeling I am the subject of some sort of joke or other and I really didn't think the person was like that...oh well....maybe a trip to the legion would sort me out....I haven't been for about a month!

Hello all, another gorgeous day here, too hot for Rosie though,
Tony off this week after all but in sick as his knee is really bad now a
Though managed to get him to the docs yesterday and he's got an appointment for an X-ray Friday, the doc made him another appointment to see him after and he's to ring him as soon as he's had his X-ray.
And he's had to make an appointment for physio too although the doc says he doesn't think the physio will help him but they will send him to see a specialist if he needs one.
Moyra good luck tomorrow
Griff hope this is not true, hugs and if it is true then that person isn't worth anything
Sue good luck with the insurance search,
Lynn hope you have a good day too
LG hope you have a good day out with the mem and not too much folded stuff is spent

Oh no Mandy, what has Tony done??? Hope the xray goes o.k
It isn't actually Steve who is the problem...not worth worrying about I guess but if someone is taking the p*ss out of me I would rather know and have it out with them and see if they have the balls to actually admit to what is going on to my face...though I doubt it
