On friday my dad was helping me move and we got a phone call about 12ish to say my stepmum had come out the computer room to find daisy as she had wandered off, she found her in the bedroom shivering, struggling to breath and covered in blood
she was put in a oxygen tent x rayed bloods done everything and nothing showed up, my dad rang at 6 and she had perked up a tiny bit but when she had barked at the vet the effort made her collapse,
My dad was on the phone to the breeder when the vet rang at 9 to say she had died.
She had a lot of fluid on her lungs and was coughing up blood, she had shown no symptoms before my dad had left or before my stepmum had checked her emails, they thought maybe choking but found nothing.
The vets have said it could be one of 2 things either lungworm or rat posion, I think rat poison as I've never heard of lungworm being there with no symptoms (i could be wrong though).
