Wow, that is a stunning dog!

You've probably told everyone before, but tell me more about him/her. How old? ......... What are Elkhounds like temp wise (think it's an Elkhound, sorry if I'm wrong!)

Yes it is an Elkhound, this one has not made an appearance before on this forum and his pet name is Saxon. He was 3 in the photo and is now 6, he was shown and did a lot of winning when he was young. Elkhounds are totally trustworthy with people, the males can be a bit prickly with other males particularly with other Elkhound males, they can be noisy, self-willed and totally delightful. And I love them to bits. :smt058
