Morning Alex, hope he is feeling better this morning.

I can TOTALLY sympathise on this one as this is how I spent some of my honeymoon in Bali. I had to see the doc out there who gave me mysterious tablets and injected me too!!! i had no idea what they were doing but I would have sold my soul for an adult nappy . I was so tired.....

Vicki I took immodium on this occasion so it can help, it does just prolong the inevitable though if caused by a bug. Mine was a reaction to my malaria tablets.....

Hoping your TLC and all the advice has helped, now don`t forget to look after YOU!! B & J and a gauze face mask, plus rubber gloves should do it.

Hi guys thanks for the concern...

Have left china to look after him today!

Ok he finally stopped vomiting last night about 9.30ish..so did the diarrhoea but he puts that down to there being nothing left!

I slept in spare bedroom last night and poor china looks shattered this morning she was toing and froing from each of us all night! Every time OH made a noise she went running in to his room!

He has been given a sachet of dioralyte this morning and he just says all his body is aching

He is sipping water and lucozade and has promised me he will eat something light for lunch...

as he went home sick Virgin have a call centre that deals with sickness absence so they are having a nurse call him between 2-3 this afternoon...

So we shall see!

PS ben and jerrys was really good (caramel chew chew) and really kept my strength up!!

Alex
xx

Glad to hear the vomiting etc., has stopped. Hope he now makes a speedy recovery. He will need to rest for a couple of days I would think.

I think the advice is not to return to work until you have had 48 hours symptom free?
