Thanx Thordell, I have just spent the morning attaching carpet to the inside of the dog beds and made sure it goes over the sides as well. I attached it with double sided carpet tape, I hope this works.

Double sided tape might work for yours but it sure would not with mine they don't have blankets because they haul them up the garden and stuff them down a hole. Mine have soft beds that I only put down at night, else I would have a permanent order in for new beds every week. It's amusing though about 9.00 they come to me and ask for their beds to be put down.

Mine have never removed their bedding yet thankfully. They tend to get in their bed/s quite regularly during the day because the beds are just behind the computer and I do spend a lot of time at it.

We buy the square foam filled, plastic fabric covered beds from the NCDL and we call them their pods. When we lay them down at night they all curl up one to a pod and look like chocolates in a plastic tray all neat and precise. The do come with a padded bit that fits inside but I remove that as my lot seem to think that bits a toy. Before we had the pup we used to leave them down during the day but had to stop that else we found them soaking wet in the garden or the field at bed time, guess if he ever grows out of it we will leave them down again.
