That sounds cool!
Can you post one on here to see?

The one I have does the job fine, although it may not be to your preference - it's a Kodak Easyshare CX 7430, it has 4.0 Mpix resolution, 3x optical zoom, 3x digital zoom (digital zoom on any camera is not much use, note!) and it was £152 from Pixmania.com - which included ballistic nylon case and a 256 MB memory card (usual shop price about £40).

Beware one thing on Pixmania, though - they will add a loyalty card to your basket and try to charge you for it. Just delete it before you put in your card details to check out.

Example:

At least it does the job reasonably easily and quickly!
My standard SLR is a lot more flexible, but it's slower for posting and weighs far more!

These are only practice shots, but will give you an idea.

Nice, BD! Remind me of my aintie's Border Terrier, called Jinty (long gone, now ) and a particular memory of one Christmas afternoon, when she sat for hours, staring, just waiting for the remains of the turkey to fly down to her from the top of the fridge!

Sorry, I have no pic of her; it was a very long time ago!

Snorri

P.S., the pic of Snorri-dog above was the first taken with my digicam.
